In the 8th match minute, Itaguara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adolfo Favoretto to maneuver through the defense. When Valdomiro de Amorim came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Feitosa SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valdomiro de Amorim couldn't finish the play. Marcel Faria succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 17th playminute. Feitosa SS's Ismael Mandrak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudinho Correia in the 22nd minute of play. João Francisco Massa charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed João Francisco Massa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Valdomiro de Amorim's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hernani Branco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. After 31 minutes of play, Itaguara's Tales Cosme made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ismael Mandrak was left in no man's land by his defense there! Claudinho Correia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ismael Mandrak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tales Cosme, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. If Valdomiro de Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ismael Mandrak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudinho Correia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Itaguara's Hernani Branco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdomiro de Amorim in the 54th minute of play. In the 58th minute Marcel Faria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hernani Branco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 59th match minute, Feitosa SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henrique Damião to maneuver through the defense. Tales Cosme blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ismael Mandrak having to make a save. When Aloísio Arruda fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Itaguara's protests and gave Aloísio Arruda a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Itaguara's Aloísio Arruda got a free kick in the 71st minute. Itaguara's Hernani Branco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antônio Massa in the 73rd minute of play. In the 76th minute, Otávio Ribeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valdomiro de Amorim recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Percy Batista's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ismael Mandrak read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. Tales Cosme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ismael Mandrak having to interfere. 92 minutes into the match, Itaguara's Claudinho Correia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ismael Mandrak narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tales Cosme in the 96th minute of play forced Feitosa SS's goalkeeper Ismael Mandrak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Itaguara players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
