After 22 played minutes Lagartense ODD got a freekick which was hit by Baltazar Ceresso. Fabiano Chaves made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Wilton Corrêa sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Wilton Corrêa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabiano Chaves was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Fabiano Chaves was out of position in the 29 minute of play, and Wilton Corrêa capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Wilton Corrêa really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Fabiano Chaves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilton Corrêa in the 37th minute of the match. Lagartense ODD's Fabiano Chaves proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Lagartense ODD from getting a goal against them. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wilton Corrêa to make the kick off. Vivaldo Pitta struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Luiz Fabiano Varela didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lagartense ODD. 57 minutes into the match, Eucalipto's goalkeeper Luiz Fabiano Varela had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adrianinho Sampaio. Wilton Corrêa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lagartense ODD's Fabiano Chaves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kauã Maranhense in the 72nd minute of play. In the 73rd minute of the match Dito Mandrak sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fabiano Chaves skillfully saved the ball. Eucalipto's Luiz Fabiano Varela proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Eucalipto from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Lagartense ODD getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Sidnei Gomes hit a great ball. Kauã Maranhense struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Fabiano Chaves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Eucalipto. If Kauã Maranhense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baltazar Ceresso hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Fabiano Chaves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kauã Maranhense, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Hermínio Brito managed to get in a good position for a shot. Eucalipto's supporters rose to their feet, but Hermínio Brito was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabiano Chaves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee ended the match the Eucalipto players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
