Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Nelson Dantas took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Nelson Dantas, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 4 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Paulo Trancoso was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Negros's Arthur de Mendonça got a free kick in the 6th minute. Paulo Trancoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nelson Dantas in the 7th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nelson Dantas in the 11th minute of play forced Negros's goalkeeper Paulo Trancoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adalmo Mendes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walmir de Andrade in the 13th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Negros defense, Gilmar Quaresma kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paulo Trancoso. The Negros fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paulo Trancoso should have stopped the shot. 18 minutes into the match, Piacu's goalkeeper Adalmo Mendes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Waldemar Nascimento. After a rather tough play, Piacu's Dé Mendonça got a free kick in the 20th minute. Adalmo Mendes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walmir de Andrade in the 21st minute of play. If Juan Oliveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gilmar Quaresma charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gilmar Quaresma the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 25th match minute, Piacu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilmar Quaresma to maneuver through the defense. Walmir de Andrade recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 34 minutes into the game, Walmir de Andrade recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Adalmo Mendes. Walmir de Andrade showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. 44 minutes into the match, Piacu's goal looked a bit too open when Walmir de Andrade came free, but Adalmo Mendes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Waldemar Nascimento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Adalmo Mendes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Arthur de Mendonça kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. In the 57thth minute of the game Nelson Dantas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Negros's Paulo Trancoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Waldemar Nascimento managed to get in a good position for a shot. Negros's supporters rose to their feet, but Waldemar Nascimento was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adalmo Mendes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Nelson Dantas came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Piacu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nelson Dantas couldn't finish the play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 70th minute of the game. One of Negros:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Piacu:s goal. When the match had been going on for 71 minutes, Piacu's Edgar Azevedo got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Paulo Trancoso. Paulo Trancoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nelson Dantas in the 87th minute of the match. A collision led to Negros getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Arthur de Mendonça hit a great ball. Paulo Trancoso was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Edgar Azevedo. Nelson Dantas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Paulo Trancoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Juan Oliveira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Piacu's supporters rose to their feet, but Juan Oliveira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulo Trancoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Serafim Alagoano kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Piacu eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
