Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nicolas Martins started the match with the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Abelardo Nóbrega during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Emanuel Campidelis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Oiteiro FC booed when Curuzu FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giuseppe Rosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oiteiro FC's Vítor Cavalcante got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Emanuel Campidelis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luizão Coelho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dé Salles having to interfere. Emanuel Campidelis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Hortêncio Furtado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hortêncio Furtado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolas Martins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Curuzu FC booed when Oiteiro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jarbas Vale didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 32nd minute, Emanuel Campidelis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicolas Martins in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hortêncio Furtado saved Oiteiro FC from getting behind. In the 39th minute, Emanuel Campidelis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hortêncio Furtado was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Nicolas Martins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Hortêncio Furtado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nicolas Martins recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half Curuzu FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vítor Cavalcante was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Raphael Mesquita during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Oiteiro FC booed when Curuzu FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raphael Mesquita didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 53 minutes, Luizão Coelho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Oiteiro FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luizão Coelho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Curuzu FC booed when Oiteiro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abelardo Nóbrega didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hortêncio Furtado was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nicolas Martins showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 63 minute of play. Hortêncio Furtado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emanuel Campidelis in the 67th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Laércio Senna managed to get in a good position for a shot. Curuzu FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Laércio Senna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hortêncio Furtado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Vítor Cavalcante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Curuzu FC's Dé Salles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luizão Coelho in the 75th minute of play. Nicolas Martins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hortêncio Furtado having to interfere. Giuseppe Rosa struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Hortêncio Furtado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Curuzu FC. In the 95th minute, Nicolas Martins got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hortêncio Furtado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolas Martins, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Curuzu FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
