Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oswaldo Meireles in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erik Saraiva prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Amargoso's Dráuzio Porto got a free kick in the 4th minute. Erik Saraiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leandro dos Santos in the 5th minute of the match. The Amargoso fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Erik Saraiva should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conrado Fernandez in the 25th minute of play forced redb's goalkeeper Rubinho Romero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes into the match, redb's goal looked a bit too open when Conrado Fernandez came free, but Rubinho Romero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Conrado Fernandez came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Amargoso fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Conrado Fernandez couldn't finish the play. Leandro dos Santos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 41st minute, Cristian Ramalho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 43rd minute, Leandro dos Santos reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Erik Saraiva. The goal made the score 2-0. Leandro dos Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Franklin dos Santos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 75 minutes, Dráuzio Porto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Amargoso and the redb players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 80th minute, Leandro dos Santos made a precise shot to the right of Erik Saraiva. Amargoso's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. In the 84th minute, Leandro dos Santos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Erik Saraiva was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. After having played for 88 minutes, Oswaldo Meireles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. redb's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oswaldo Meireles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Erik Saraiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oswaldo Meireles in the 91st minute of the match. Luciano Donato fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erik Saraiva having to interfere.
