The supporters of redb booed when Frecheira SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alan Souza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oswaldo Meireles took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Romário Loyola. Romário Loyola dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 17 minutes into the game, redb's Leandro dos Santos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Romário Loyola made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. 21 minutes into the match, Frecheira SC's goal looked a bit too open when Luciano Donato came free, but Romário Loyola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thomás do Nascimento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Rubinho Romero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leandro dos Santos scored 1-3 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Romário Loyola, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 29 minutes of play, Frecheira SC's Luiz Guilherme Ribeiro made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rubinho Romero was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 33rd match minute, redb was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamin Mendonça to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Thomás do Nascimento's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rubinho Romero was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. In the 41st minute Oswaldo Meireles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romário Loyola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Frecheira SC defense, Luciano Donato kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Romário Loyola. The Frecheira SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Romário Loyola should have stopped the shot.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luciano Donato to strike the kick off in the second half. Romário Loyola made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Luciano Donato sent off a good shot on target. Luciano Donato fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romário Loyola having to interfere. 63 minutes into the match, redb's goal looked a bit too open when Thomás do Nascimento came free, but Rubinho Romero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rubinho Romero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thomás do Nascimento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Leandro dos Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ali Faruk Kutun was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 86 minutes into the match. In the 85th minute, one of redb:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for redb. A collision led to Frecheira SC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Alan Souza hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luciano Donato got free with Romário Loyola in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 93rd minute, Mané Sabóia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 95 minutes into the match, Frecheira SC's goal looked a bit too open when Leandro dos Santos came free, but Romário Loyola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Luciano Donato managed to get in a good position for a shot. redb's supporters rose to their feet, but Luciano Donato was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Romário Loyola breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
