Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Eduardo Xavier started the match with the kick off. Válbson Reis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. José Carlos Borges tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Egídio Arósio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Carlos Borges having to interfere. A collision led to Amoreira AD getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Adhemar Araújo hit a great ball. Thiago Alves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduardo Xavier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 13 minutes into the game, Benê Senna was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Amoreira AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Huefobia the free kick. Eduardo Xavier's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thiago Alves read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Amoreira AD's Eduardo Xavier dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Eduardo Xavier had several of the Huefobia's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 24 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Thiago Alves as he didn't even see the shot coming. Eduardo Xavier's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thiago Alves read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Amauri da Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Thiago Alves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Huefobia's zone, Eduardo Xavier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thiago Alves came out of the goal and Eduardo Xavier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eduardo Xavier might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Thiago Alves. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eduardo Xavier ran back to his position shaking his head. The corner led Amoreira AD's Alan Silva to fire away a dangerous shot which Thiago Alves despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 43rd minute Eduardo Xavier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Alves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Egídio Arósio made the kick off in the second half. Huefobia's Egídio Arósio got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 55th minute, Eduardo Xavier ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thiago Alves was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Egídio Arósio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Carlos Borges having to interfere. 65 minutes into the match, Amoreira AD's goalkeeper José Carlos Borges had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Egídio Arósio. Egídio Arósio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Huefobia's Válbson Reis got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Emilio Iztal struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. José Carlos Borges didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Huefobia. Egídio Arósio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Carlos Borges having to interfere. In the 95thth minute of the game Egídio Arósio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Amoreira AD's José Carlos Borges was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
