Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Frédson Arce made the kick off which started today's match. 3 minutes into the match, Barreirao FC's goal looked a bit too open when João Paulo Diniz came free, but Marcus Vidal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 7 minutes into the match, Descoberto's goalkeeper Arthur Arósio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Severino de Godoy. After 8 played minutes Descoberto got a freekick which was hit by Vivaldo Matos. Severino de Godoy got in the 10th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Arthur Arósio handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Descoberto's Arthur Arósio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frédson Arce in the 14th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vivaldo Matos during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Descoberto getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Vivaldo Matos hit a great ball. Frédson Arce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 20 played minutes Descoberto got a freekick which was hit by Kaká de Amorim. In the 21st minute, Juarês Queirós sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Descoberto's Arthur Arósio didn't even have to move. In the 23rd minute, Barreirao FC's Frédson Arce ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Arthur Arósio. Arthur Arósio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Marcus Vidal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gilson Proença went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Descoberto's Vivaldo Matos got a free kick in the 28th minute. Barreirao FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Juarês Queirós in the 34th minute. The corner led Barreirao FC's Juarês Queirós to fire away a dangerous shot which Arthur Arósio despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If Gilson Proença had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcus Vidal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Paulo Diniz in the 39th minute of the match. Gilson Proença fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcus Vidal having to interfere. Descoberto's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Frédson Arce 42 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-2.

The wind increased when Gilson Proença made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilson Proença in the 53rd minute of play forced Barreirao FC's goalkeeper Marcus Vidal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Descoberto booed when Barreirao FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felippe Nogueira didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when João Paulo Diniz got free with Marcus Vidal in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gilson Proença in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcus Vidal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kaká de Amorim's late challenge caught a Barreirao FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kaká de Amorim helped the player get up and apologised. Arthur Arósio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severino de Godoy in the 74th minute of play. Arthur Arósio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severino de Godoy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Descoberto booed when Barreirao FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Gustavo Pitta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Victor Hames, 78 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilson Proença in the 80th minute of play forced Barreirao FC's goalkeeper Marcus Vidal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 81 minutes into the game, Luís Gustavo Pitta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barreirao FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Descoberto the free kick. The supporters of Descoberto booed when Barreirao FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Gustavo Pitta didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 91st minute, Felippe Nogueira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcus Vidal made an important save on a dangerous shot by João Paulo Diniz in the 95th minute. Descoberto were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Barreirao FC to leave the ground with a draw.
