Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Váldson Cruz made the kick off and thus started the match. Duda Massa made an important save on a dangerous shot by João Paulo Diniz in the 5th minute. Leandro Cearense's late challenge caught a Descoberto's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leandro Cearense helped the player get up and apologised. In the 6th minute, Leandro Cearense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 10 minutes into the match, Jacundazinho's goal looked a bit too open when Gilson Proença came free, but Duda Massa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. João Paulo Diniz struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Duda Massa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Descoberto. After a rather tough play, Jacundazinho's Paulo Renato Rodrigues got a free kick in the 13th minute. Gilson Proença received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Duda Massa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. João Paulo Dinizs short, quick shot in the 21stth minute got Duda Massa to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 23 minutes into the match, Jacundazinho's goal looked a bit too open when Gilson Proença came free, but Duda Massa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilson Proença in the 30th minute of play forced Jacundazinho's goalkeeper Duda Massa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Duda Massa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Paulo Diniz in the 33rd minute of play. When João Paulo Diniz came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Descoberto fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that João Paulo Diniz couldn't finish the play. Gilson Proença recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Gilson Proença managed to get in a good position for a shot. Descoberto's supporters rose to their feet, but Gilson Proença was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Duda Massa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. João Paulo Diniz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Gilson Proença kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Duda Massa. That made the score 1-0 in the 49 minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gilson Proença stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gilson Proença took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Duda Massa. Duda Massa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, João Paulo Diniz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Descoberto's supporters rose to their feet, but João Paulo Diniz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Duda Massa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Duda Massa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gilson Proença's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. 65 minutes into the match, Descoberto's João Paulo Diniz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Duda Massa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Gilson Proença had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jacundazinho's Duda Massa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilson Proença in the 77th minute of play. In the 79th minute of the match Victor Hames sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Duda Massa skillfully saved the ball. Descoberto's Arthur Arósio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Descoberto from getting a goal against them. If Gilson Proença had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If João Paulo Diniz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Descoberto booed when Jacundazinho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Renatinho Tasso didn't get a good kick on the ball. João Paulo Diniz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Duda Massa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Descoberto walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
