Guaianazes SC's Maurinho Faria got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gilberto Vides showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wesley Pombal in the 14th minute of the match. Wesley Pombal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilberto Vides having to interfere. Guaianazes SC's Gilberto Vides proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Guaianazes SC from getting a goal against them. When Guaianazes SC's Maurinho Faria in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cassual SS's goalie prevented a goal. Wesley Pombal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Gilberto Vides tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gilberto Vides was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sandro Lira showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 27 minute of play. Guaianazes SC's Gilberto Vides proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Guaianazes SC from getting a goal against them. Gilberto Vides made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wesley Pombal in the 34th minute of play. Fred Andrade hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Hamílton Maciel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 40 minutes into the game, Sandro Lira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Gilberto Vides was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 44th match minute, Guaianazes SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Valadares to maneuver through the defense. Gilberto Vides showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wesley Pombal, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Gilberto Vides took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wesley Pombal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Maurinho Faria made a kick off. Hamílton Maciel in the 68thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dagoberto Vale, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Severino Lira hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. The Cassual SS fans' excitement grew in the 72nd match minute when Cassual SS's Sandro Lira looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sandro Lira in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gilberto Vides prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 87th minute Sandro Lira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilberto Vides saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gilberto Vides showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wesley Pombal in the 88th minute of the match. If Wesley Pombal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sandro Lira in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gilberto Vides saved Guaianazes SC from getting behind. 96 minutes into the match, Guaianazes SC's goal looked a bit too open when Wesley Pombal came free, but Gilberto Vides reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
