Michel Lira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kaká Garcia having to interfere. The supporters of Puca booed when Cacatua was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vladimir Guedes didn't get a good kick on the ball. César Dias scored 1-2 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kaká Garcia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Cacatua getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Vladimir Guedes hit a great ball. Michel Lira spun around in front of the goal 44 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Cacatua's goal. Cacatua's Wilson Neto got a good chance for a goal in the 49th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Michel Lira who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 55thth minute tested the skills of Kaká Garcia when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Cacatua's Kaká Garcia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Cacatua from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling César Dias in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kaká Garcia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If César Dias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cacatua's goalkeeper Kaká Garcia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Michel Lira got free with Kaká Garcia in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. César Dias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kaká Garcia having to interfere. When César Dias came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Puca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that César Dias couldn't finish the play. Puca's Michel Lira got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 89 minutes, Zeca Sá managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cacatua's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zeca Sá was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kaká Garcia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from César Dias, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. César Dias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Puca played a much better game than Cacatua and deserved their victory. The Cacatua players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
