An unexpectedly hard shot by Mathias Domingues in the 15th minute of play forced INVICTOS F.C.'s goalkeeper Andrézinho Coelho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Cássio Ribeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cayambe's supporters rose to their feet, but Cássio Ribeiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andrézinho Coelho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Egídio de Senna took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gonçalo Silveira. Gonçalo Silveira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Egídio de Senna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cayambe were furious when Emerson Vides was red carded, 33 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 40 played minutes, Cayambe's Luís Fernando Paraíba shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Andrézinho Coelho came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cayambe reached it. Andrézinho Coelho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mathias Domingues, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Egídio de Senna stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Egídio de Senna in the 59th minute of play forced Cayambe's goalkeeper Gonçalo Silveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Cayambe getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Mathias Domingues hit a great ball. Egídio de Senna struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Gonçalo Silveira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for INVICTOS F.C.. 68 minutes into the match, Wawrzyniec Dyczkowski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gonçalo Silveira. Cayambe's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wawrzyniec Dyczkowski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. After 77 played minutes INVICTOS F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Sílvio Cosme. Andrézinho Coelho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luís Fernando Paraíba in the 78th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Egídio de Senna in the 79th minute of play forced Cayambe's goalkeeper Gonçalo Silveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mathias Domingues's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andrézinho Coelho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. In the 87th minute Jiří Stibor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gonçalo Silveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Egídio de Senna might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gonçalo Silveira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Egídio de Senna ran back to his position shaking his head. Mathias Domingues struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Andrézinho Coelho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cayambe. 93 minutes into the match, INVICTOS F.C.'s goalkeeper Andrézinho Coelho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mathias Domingues. In the 95th minute, Cesinha Batista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. INVICTOS F.C. fully deserved thier win.
