Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Michel Fontes started the match with the kick off. Galeno FC's Adelino Nascimento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michel Fontes in the 5th minute of play. Sidney Penha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael de Castro having to interfere. Donatello Tróia kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. If Michel Fontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sidney Penha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Rafael de Castro made a huge save. Galeno FC's Zé de Brito got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Guto de Alcântara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Michel Fontes came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Abaira SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Michel Fontes couldn't finish the play. Adelino Nascimento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michel Fontes in the 42nd minute of play. Rafael de Castro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sidney Penha went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zé de Brito made a kick off. In the 54th minute, Galeno FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Michel Fontes fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. With a little luck, Galeno FC's Adelino Nascimento got control of the ball when Michel Fontes tried to sneak it across the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, Sidney Penha notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Abaira SC's Rafael de Castro. Rafael de Castro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 64 minutes, Michel Fontes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Abaira SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Michel Fontes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Michel Fontes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Adelino Nascimento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Galeno FC's José Augusto Paiva got a free kick in the 67th minute. Valdemar Fernandes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Abaira SC's Michel Fontes was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 71st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After 75 minutes, Michel Fontes made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Galeno FC's Adelino Nascimento tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Rafael de Castro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sidney Penha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sidney Penha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Rafael de Castro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Galeno FC's Zé de Brito in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Abaira SC's goalie prevented a goal. Michel Fontess short, quick shot in the 86thth minute got Adelino Nascimento to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Michel Fontes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Adelino Nascimento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
