The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mannos's Carlos Branco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Mannos from getting a goal against them. Carlinhos Neiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iuri Simões in the 5th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Silvério Vinhas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Vale do Sol MZC's supporters rose to their feet, but Silvério Vinhas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlos Branco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 14 minutes into the match, Mannos's goal looked a bit too open when Silvério Vinhas came free, but Carlos Branco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 16 played minutes, Real Vale do Sol MZC's Leonardo Prado shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Carlos Branco came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Real Vale do Sol MZC reached it. Carlinhos Neiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iuri Simões in the 18th minute of play. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Silvério Vinhas ran back to his position shaking his head. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Silvério Vinhas to strike the kick off in the second half. With an all-out effort, Mannos's Carlinhos Neiva threw himself towards the right post 56 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Iuri Simões, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Iuri Simões had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Mannos defense, Gonçalo dos Santos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carlos Branco. The Mannos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carlos Branco should have stopped the shot. Silvério Vinhas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Branco having to interfere. With a little luck, Real Vale do Sol MZC's Carlinhos Neiva got control of the ball when Oswaldo Mineiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Silvério Vinhas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carlos Branco having to make a save. Gonçalo dos Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cássio Araújo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 96 minutes into the game, Real Vale do Sol MZC's Cássio Araújo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carlos Branco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Real Vale do Sol MZC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
