Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Douglas de Queirós started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute of the match Edmílson Rosado sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Caco do Nascimento skillfully saved the ball. Ibitiara AD's Douglas de Queirós got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Alambique getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Vinícius Proença hit a great ball. After 17 played minutes Alambique got a freekick which was hit by Rogério Nunes. In the 18th minute, Alfredinho Borges had to leave the field with a concussion. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rafa Ceresso during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ibitiara AD's Alfredo Proença was substituted for Alfredinho Borges. Rafa Ceresso hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Edmílson Rosado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Caco do Nascimento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot by Rogério Nunes from long distance, 23 minutes into the match, got Cléberson da Fonseca's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Edmílson Rosado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caco do Nascimento having to interfere. The supporters of Alambique booed when Ibitiara AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Percy Gerber didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 41st minute Vinícius Proença shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cléberson da Fonseca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Ibitiara AD getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Percy Gerber hit a great ball. Vinícius Proença recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Conrado Sampaio came free with the goalkeeper in the 47th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Cléberson da Fonseca could save by the left post. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vinícius Proença to make the kick off. Vinícius Proença received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Cléberson da Fonseca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Conrado Sampaio struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Cléberson da Fonseca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alambique. Vinícius Proença fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cléberson da Fonseca having to interfere. Cléberson da Fonseca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Conrado Sampaio, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 59th minute, Rogério Nunes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 62nd minute, Bruno Sá hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edmílson Rosado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Caco do Nascimento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edmílson Rosado kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Conrado Sampaio might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cléberson da Fonseca. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Conrado Sampaio ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Ibitiara AD's Antônio Carlos Cunha got a free kick in the 72nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vinícius Proença in the 76th minute of play forced Ibitiara AD's goalkeeper Cléberson da Fonseca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Conrado Sampaio took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cléberson da Fonseca. Cléberson da Fonseca dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Caco do Nascimento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Douglas de Queirós in the 83rd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alfredo Proença during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 85th minute, Alfredo Proença hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ibitiara AD's Cléberson da Fonseca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vinícius Proença in the 86th minute of play. André Luiz Albuquerque came free in the 91st minute and tried to tip the ball over Caco do Nascimento, but to the joy of Alambique's supporters the ball went over. Ibitiara AD were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Alambique to leave the ground with a draw.
