Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Mário Peixoto got the match started through his kick off. Frederico Toledo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Anderson Mattos made a huge save. 4 minutes into the match, Hannover Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Cerezo came free, but Gonçalo Messias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 8 minutes, Cauã Marques mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hannover Football Club and the Araguaia players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Cerezo in the 17th minute of play forced Hannover Football Club's goalkeeper Gonçalo Messias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Xavier kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. In the 21st minute, Rafael Garcia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gonçalo Messias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mário Peixoto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute Jonathan Cerezo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gonçalo Messias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 29th minute of the match Paulinho Paiva sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anderson Mattos skillfully saved the ball. In the 29th match minute, Araguaia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardo Pires to maneuver through the defense. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Araguaia's goalkeeper Anderson Mattos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gonçalo Messias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Cerezo in the 33rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Mário Peixoto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gonçalo Messias was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. In the 39th match minute, Hannover Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leopoldo Travassos to maneuver through the defense. Araguaia's Anderson Mattos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Paranaense in the 45th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Diego Paranaense was the one to do the kick off. Diego Paranaense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Paranaense in the 55th minute of play forced Araguaia's goalkeeper Anderson Mattos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Frederico Toledo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jonathan Cerezo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hannover Football Club's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Mário Peixoto 68 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-1. If Mário Peixoto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Frederico Toledo came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Hannover Football Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frederico Toledo couldn't finish the play. Anderson Mattos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frederico Toledo in the 78th minute of the match. Gonçalo Messias made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jonathan Cerezo in the 80th minute. 81 minutes into the game, Chiquinho Ceresso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Araguaia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hannover Football Club the free kick. After a rather tough play, Araguaia's Chiquinho Ceresso got a free kick in the 81st minute. Olavo Santos's late challenge caught a Araguaia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Olavo Santos helped the player get up and apologised. In the 87th match minute, Hannover Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olavo Santos to maneuver through the defense. Mário Peixoto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gonçalo Messias read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. If Frederico Toledo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
