Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Francisco Hermes took the kick off in the first half of the match. After having played for 3 minutes, Francisco Hermes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sapupara FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francisco Hermes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Francisco Hermes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donato das Neves having to interfere. A collision led to Rancheiro SS getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Ricardo de Brito hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Glauco Prestes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sapupara FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Glauco Prestes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Donato das Neves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. José Vítor Mandrak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Sérgio Novaes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Charles Mineiro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 20thth minute tested the skills of Sérgio Novaes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 22 played minutes José Vítor Mandrak rounded Sapupara FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. After 26 minutes, Bruno Loyola mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rancheiro SS and the Sapupara FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 26 played minutes Rancheiro SS got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Loyola. After 30 played minutes, Sapupara FC's Faustão de Queiroz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Donato das Neves came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sapupara FC reached it. The supporters of Rancheiro SS booed when Sapupara FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hílton Simões didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Sapupara FC defense, José Vítor Mandrak kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sérgio Novaes. The Sapupara FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sérgio Novaes should have stopped the shot. In the 39th minute Francisco Hermes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donato das Neves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Charles Mineiro's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 41stth minute, Sérgio Novaes skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gilson Seco during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Sapupara FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Gilson Seco hit a great ball. Rancheiro SS's Alex Eger suffered a sore thigh after 43 minutes and couldn't finish the game. During the 43rd minute of the match Gilson Seco completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Gilson Seco a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Sapupara FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Gilson Seco hit a great ball. Eduardo Maciel took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 46th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sérgio Novaes. Sapupara FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Rancheiro SS's Charles Mineiro got a free kick in the 47th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Charles Mineiro to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Charles Mineiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rancheiro SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Charles Mineiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sérgio Novaes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 56 minutes into the match, Sapupara FC's goal looked a bit too open when Charles Mineiro came free, but Sérgio Novaes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Glauco Prestes in the 60thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Donato das Neves, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Charles Mineiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Sérgio Novaes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ricardo de Brito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Rancheiro SS's Charles Mineiro in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sapupara FC's goalie prevented a goal. Charles Mineiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sérgio Novaes having to interfere. Sérgio Novaes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Vítor Mandrak in the 78th minute of the match. Hernani Motta kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Donato das Neves came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Sapupara FC's Glauco Prestes. But to his dismay, Glauco Prestes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 88th minute, Charles Mineiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hílton Simões received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Donato das Neves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Glauco Prestes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sapupara FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Rancheiro SS.
