Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cláudio Seco started the match with the kick off. When Trieste F.C.'s João Nóbrega in 7 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Hermínio Martins guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. A collision led to Leblon getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. André Luís Jacinto hit a great ball. Simão Félix took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hermínio Martins. Hermínio Martins dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Hermínio Martins stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of João Nóbrega's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Marcel Maia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cláudio Seco's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. After a rather tough play, Trieste F.C.'s Rubinho de Azevedo got a free kick in the 31st minute. Ademar Mandrak hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. After 41 played minutes Trieste F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Manoel de Salles. Marcel Maia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cláudio Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. In the 46th minute, Pedro Luís de Medeiros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marcel Maia was out of position in the 49 minute of play, and Cláudio Seco capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cláudio Seco really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1.

Pedro Luís de Medeiros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Cláudio Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fred Vargas hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Marcel Maia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Luís de Medeiros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ernani Motta during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 68 played minutes Leblon got a freekick which was hit by Ernani Motta. In the 71st minute, João Nóbrega fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Hermínio Martins, passed just outside the right post. After 79 minutes of play, Trieste F.C.'s Rubinho de Azevedo made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hermínio Martins was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cláudio Seco in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcel Maia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Trieste F.C.'s Marcel Maia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cláudio Seco in the 88th minute of play. Hermínio Martins showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Nóbrega, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Trieste F.C.'s Marcel Maia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cláudio Seco in the 91st minute of play. Alfredão Vasconcelos kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. 100 minutes into the match, Trieste F.C.'s João Nóbrega sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hermínio Martins narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
