Jonas Perez hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. A collision led to Anacory SS getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Samuca Alagoano hit a great ball. Pedro Luís de Medeiros struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Walmir Cardozo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Leblon. José Augusto Amaral hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 20th minute, Olívio Santana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hermínio Martins made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Guga Abreu sent off a good shot on target. In the 27th minute, Anacory SS's Samuca Alagoano ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hermínio Martins. Hermínio Martins yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 36th minute, Téo de Queirós had to leave the field with a concussion. 36 minutes into the game, Samuca Alagoano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Anacory SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Leblon the free kick. In the 37th minute, Samuca Alagoano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Guga Abreu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Samuca Alagoano kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hermínio Martins. That made the score 2-1 in the 43 minute of play. With a little luck, Leblon's Hermínio Martins got control of the ball when Samuca Alagoano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Guga Abreu struck a weak shot in the 49th minute. Hermínio Martins didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Anacory SS. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Samuca Alagoano to strike the kick off in the second half. Hermínio Martins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuca Alagoano in the 55th minute of the match. Diego Melo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walmir Cardozo having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Leblon's zone, José Augusto Amaral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hermínio Martins came out of the goal and José Augusto Amaral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Samuca Alagoano struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Hermínio Martins didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Anacory SS. In the 69th minute, Guga Abreu made a precise shot to the right of Hermínio Martins. Leblon's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Pedro Luís de Medeiros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Walmir Cardozo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 75 minutes, Diego Melo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Leblon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diego Melo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Guga Abreu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anacory SS's Samuca Alagoano got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 84 played minutes Leblon got a freekick which was hit by André Luís Jacinto. Hermínio Martins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guga Abreu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leblon's Hermínio Martins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guga Abreu in the 89th minute of play. Hermínio Martins didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Anacory SS's Samuca Alagoano shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 5-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Walmir Cardozo made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Pedro Luís de Medeiros sent off a good shot on target. When Pedro Luís de Medeiros came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Leblon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro Luís de Medeiros couldn't finish the play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Anacory SS fully deserved thier win.
