Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Jardel Maranhense started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. André Luiz Lago stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jardel Maranhense's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. Juarês de Queirós received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. André Luiz Lago tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 7th minute, Jardel Maranhense got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Felipe Luz charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Felipe Luz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Joaci booed when Gracas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felipe Luz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fabrício de Mendonça fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Luiz Lago having to interfere. Sidnei Pirani missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 20 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the André Luiz Lago right hand side. Júlio Simões fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Válbson Couto having to interfere. André Luiz Lago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jardel Maranhense, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. After 27 played minutes Joaci got a freekick which was hit by Fabrício de Mendonça. 30 minutes into the match, Gracas's goal looked a bit too open when Juarês de Queirós came free, but André Luiz Lago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juarês de Queirós fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Luiz Lago having to interfere. Joaci's Jardel Maranhense got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Benê Eger made a kick off. Gracas's defense didn't have a chance, in the 51st minute, when Cláudio Valladares scored to the left of an out of position André Luiz Lago, making the score, 0-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Joaci's Jardel Maranhense slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of André Luiz Lago. That made the score 0-2 after 61 minutes of play. After a defensive mix-up in Gracas's zone, Jardel Maranhense stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. André Luiz Lago came out of the goal and Jardel Maranhense tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Juarês de Queirós succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-3 in the 68th playminute. With a little luck, Gracas's André Luiz Lago got control of the ball when Juarês de Queirós tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 75th minute, Bruninho Bittencourt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Joaci's zone, Benê Eger stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Válbson Couto came out of the goal and Benê Eger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jardel Maranhense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Juarês de Queirós managed to get in a good position for a shot. Joaci's supporters rose to their feet, but Juarês de Queirós was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. André Luiz Lago breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jardel Maranhense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Luiz Lago having to interfere. André Luiz Lago stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jardel Maranhense's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Juarês de Queirós received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. André Luiz Lago tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joaci played a much better game than Gracas and deserved their victory. The Gracas players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
