After a rather tough play, Tariiman SS's Reynaldo Negri got a free kick in the 20th minute. Tiago Marques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Koehler having to interfere. Ulisses Lucas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Breno Bastos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jorge Koehler was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Taiacu AD's goalkeeper Cléberson Velloso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Taiacu AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tariiman SS the free kick. After 47 played minutes Taiacu AD got a freekick which was hit by Wilian Koehler. After the first half Taiacu AD were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tiago Marques to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Breno Bastos got free with Jorge Koehler in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 56th minute, Tiago Marques got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tariiman SS's goalkeeper Jorge Koehler, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Breno Bastoss short, quick shot in the 62ndth minute got Jorge Koehler to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 63rd minute Breno Bastos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Koehler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tiago Marques was extremely unlucky when he, in the 65th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. If Breno Bastos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. After 81 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Tariiman SS! Cauã de Carvalho placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Jorge Koehler made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Breno Bastos sent off a good shot on target. Tiago Marques recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 99 minutes into the game, Breno Bastos lined in a short shot 0-2 behind a frustrated Jorge Koehler. Taiacu AD's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
