Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Cesinha Baptista started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When Reynaldo Motta came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Maringá Futebol Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reynaldo Motta couldn't finish the play. When Alberto Arruda fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Maringá Futebol Clube's protests and gave Alberto Arruda a yellow card for diving instead. In the 6th minute, Alberto Arruda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maringá Futebol Clube's Rony Barral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Vítor Valladares in the 9th minute of play. Rony Barral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Vítor Valladares in the 12th minute of the match. In the 13thth minute of the game João Vítor Valladares who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Maringá Futebol Clube's Rony Barral was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Reynaldo Motta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cesinha Baptista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rony Barral having to interfere. Rony Barral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Vítor Valladares, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. After 31 played minutes Maringá Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Reynaldo Motta. After 32 played minutes, Os miseravi's Washington Freitas shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rony Barral came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Os miseravi reached it. If João Vítor Valladares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Cesinha Baptista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maringá Futebol Clube's Rony Barral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matías Varela in the 37th minute of play. Cesinha Baptista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Rony Barral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Cesinha Baptista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alberto Arruda kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. 49 minutes into the game, Os miseravi's Cesinha Baptista nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rony Barral made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Os miseravi's Cesinha Baptista got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Orlando Perez kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Rony Barral made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when João Vítor Valladares sent off a good shot on target. After 63 played minutes Cesinha Baptista rounded Maringá Futebol Clube's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-2. 0-3 became the score in the 66th minute when João Vítor Valladares elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. If Cesinha Baptista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Os miseravi's Carlos Eduardo Mello got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cesinha Baptista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Carlos Eduardo Mello recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Orlando Perez hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. In the 81st minute, Cesinha Baptista got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cesinha Baptista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rony Barral having to interfere. In the 85th minute, Alberto Arruda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cesinha Baptista in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rony Barral prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rony Barral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cesinha Baptista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maringá Futebol Clube's Rony Barral proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Maringá Futebol Clube from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Maringá Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Reynaldo Motta hit a great ball. If Cipriano Saldanha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 100th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
