The throw-in from Artur de Almeida in the 7th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Ferrete's Georg Waschke. Romário Mendes might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Váldson Rosado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Romário Mendes ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 14th minute, Durvalino Martins fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 15th match minute, Ubim was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oscar Andrade to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, Ferrete's Anderson da Silva threw himself towards the right post 18 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Carlos Eduardo Quintal, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sabino da Mata got free with Anderson da Silva in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Váldson Rosado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulisses Vergílio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ulisses Vergílio hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Frederick Jursch hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Váldson Rosado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Bezerra in the 37th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Armando Bezerra's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Váldson Rosado was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Váldson Rosado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulisses Vergílio, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Váldson Rosado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Bezerra in the 40th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Ubim's Ulisses Vergílio got a free kick in the 43rd minute. A collision led to Ubim getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Artur de Almeida hit a great ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Ubim were furious when Luciano Quadros was red carded, 52 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 51 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ubim! Edinho Antunes walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. 56 minutes into the game, Carlos Eduardo Quintal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Anderson da Silva was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Oscar Andrade fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ubim's protests and gave Oscar Andrade a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Ubim's Oscar Andrade got a free kick in the 58th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Ubim's zone, Durvalino Martins stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anderson da Silva came out of the goal and Durvalino Martins tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carlos Eduardo Quintal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ubim's Anderson da Silva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Eduardo Quintal in the 70th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Ubim's Wilton Campidelis got a free kick in the 70th minute. 74 minutes into the match, Ubim's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Eduardo Quintal came free, but Anderson da Silva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anderson da Silva came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Ferrete's Carlos Eduardo Quintal. But to his dismay, Carlos Eduardo Quintal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Oscar Andrade struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Váldson Rosado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ubim. Hamílton Freire made in the 84th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Ferrete's Sabino da Mata. Pedrinho Breckenfeld sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anderson da Silva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Eduardo Quintal in the 93rd minute of the match. Pedrinho Breckenfeld received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Anderson da Silva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anderson da Silva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedrinho Breckenfeld, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
