Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Christiano de Senna started the match with the kick off. When Abel de Sena came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Uxituba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abel de Sena couldn't finish the play. Ernesto Barros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abel de Sena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 10 minutes Penha's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gino Miranda who took care of the corner kick. A well done corner resulted in Christiano Queiroz drilling the ball in to score 1-0 behind Penha's goalkeeper. In the 16th minute Abel de Sena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Barros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ernesto Barros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abel de Sena, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abel de Sena in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ernesto Barros saved Penha from getting behind. Ernesto Barros came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Uxituba's Diguinho Cordeiro. But to his dismay, Diguinho Cordeiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 30th minute Simão Barral suffered a knee injury and had to be helped off the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gildo Fernandez during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gildo Fernandez kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. 36 minutes in the game, Diguinho Cordeiro fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ernesto Barros having to interfere. 37 minutes into the match, Uxituba's Abel de Sena sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ernesto Barros narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Chiquinho Sabóia kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Penha's Ernesto Barros proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Penha from getting a goal against them. Ernesto Barros made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Diguinho Cordeiro sent off a good shot on target. Romeu Jacinto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cauan Britto, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Diguinho Cordeiro to strike the kick off in the second half. If Christiano de Senna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Uxituba's Romeu Jacinto got control of the ball when Cauan Britto tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 61 minutes, Diguinho Cordeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Uxituba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diguinho Cordeiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Christiano de Senna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Romeu Jacinto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 66th match minute, Uxituba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel de Sena to maneuver through the defense. In the 67th minute Christiano de Senna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romeu Jacinto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Romeu Jacinto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christiano de Senna in the 69th minute of play. Romeu Jacinto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cauan Britto in the 71st minute. In the 76th minute, Cauan Britto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Diguinho Cordeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Diguinho Cordeiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ernesto Barros read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. The supporters of Penha booed when Uxituba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlinhos de Amorim didn't get a good kick on the ball. 88 minutes in the game, Christiano de Senna fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Romeu Jacinto having to interfere. When Carlinhos de Amorim came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Uxituba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlinhos de Amorim couldn't finish the play.
