In the 4thth minute of the game Leopoldo Mazza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ubaitaba's Benedito Carneiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leopoldo Mazza in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benedito Carneiro saved Ubaitaba from getting behind. If Mateus Félix had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 10 minutes, Leopoldo Mazza made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Ubaitaba's Benedito Carneiro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Murillo Cordeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benedito Carneiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Mateus Félix managed to get in a good position for a shot. Viveiros's supporters rose to their feet, but Mateus Félix was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benedito Carneiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Ubaitaba fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Viveiros were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
