Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Luís Fabiano Barros started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Cristai's goal looked a bit too open when Reginaldo do Nascimento came free, but Amauri Romero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Reginaldo do Nascimento in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amauri Romero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luís Fabiano Barros struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Pedro Paulo Machado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cristai. Ramón Pinho walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Reginaldo do Nascimento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Amauri Romero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reginaldo do Nascimento in the 22nd minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, Cristai's goal looked a bit too open when Rogério Torres came free, but Amauri Romero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amauri Romero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rogério Torres, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Amauri Romero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reginaldo do Nascimento in the 33rd minute of the match. Aba SS's Pedro Paulo Machado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Fabiano Barros in the 46th minute of play. Rogério Torres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Amauri Romero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Reginaldo do Nascimento stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antônio Perez in the 57th minute of play forced Aba SS's goalkeeper Pedro Paulo Machado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rogério Torres blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Amauri Romero having to make a save. 64 minutes into the game, Luís Fabiano Barros cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Pedro Paulo Machado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ramón Pinho was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 69 minutes into the match. Antônio Perez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Pedro Paulo Machado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Antônio Perez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aba SS's Pedro Paulo Machado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Fabiano Barros in the 82nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antônio Perez in the 83rd minute of play forced Aba SS's goalkeeper Pedro Paulo Machado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Cristai's Amauri Romero got control of the ball when Rogério Torres tried to sneak it across the goal line. Franklin Queiroz hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Antônio Perez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Aba SS's Amílton Pires shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 98th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Amauri Romero but with some difficulty. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Cristai fans cheered their team off the field, for while Aba SS had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
