Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Afonso Miranda took the kick off in the first half of the match. Richard Quadros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afonso Miranda in the 6th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Tamoa's Afonso Miranda sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Richard Quadros narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Breno Vinhas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Eduardo Pimenta, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. The supporters of Quebracho EC booed when Tamoa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquim Bertassi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Quebracho EC's Luís Eduardo Pimenta got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joélson Arósio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Breno Vinhas having to interfere. After having played for 37 minutes, Afonso Miranda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tamoa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Afonso Miranda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aníbal Novaes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Richard Quadros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Breno Vinhas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joélson Arósio in the 46th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Quebracho EC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cido da Fonseca in the 55th minute. Luís Eduardo Pimenta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Breno Vinhas having to interfere. If Aníbal Novaes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 61 minutes into the match, Quebracho EC's goal looked a bit too open when Afonso Miranda came free, but Richard Quadros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Quebracho EC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Joélson Arósio hit a great ball. Aníbal Novaes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Richard Quadros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aníbal Novaes in the 69th minute of the match. When Aníbal Novaes came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Tamoa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aníbal Novaes couldn't finish the play. Richard Quadros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aníbal Novaes in the 81st minute of play. Richard Quadros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Afonso Miranda, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Luís Eduardo Pimenta charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luís Eduardo Pimenta the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Quebracho EC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Luís Eduardo Pimenta hit a great ball. Aníbal Novaes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Luís Eduardo Pimenta hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. An unexpected shot in the 94th minute by Joélson Arósio got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side.
