Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Seleto Football Club's Aleandro Santos started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Betão Xavier in the 3rd minute of play forced Seleto Football Club's goalkeeper Zacarias Dias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Aleandro Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Hernani dos Santos fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mairi FC's protests and gave Hernani dos Santos a yellow card for diving instead. After 8 played minutes Mairi FC got a freekick which was hit by Hernani dos Santos. In the 11th minute, Betão Xavier ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zacarias Dias was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 14 minutes into the match, Seleto Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Betão Xavier came free, but Zacarias Dias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Seleto Football Club's Zacarias Dias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hernani dos Santos in the 23rd minute of play. In the 27th minute, Osvaldo Peres fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 29 minutes into the game, Aleandro Santos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Luizinho Arce was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Osvaldo Peres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luizinho Arce having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Betão Xavier stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Osvaldo Peres came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Seleto Football Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Osvaldo Peres couldn't finish the play. 55 minutes into the match, Mairi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Osvaldo Peres came free, but Luizinho Arce reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 56 minutes into the match, Osvaldo Peres had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luizinho Arce. Mairi FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Osvaldo Peres was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Dinei Linares kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. After 61 minutes of play, Mairi FC's Germano Bezerra made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zacarias Dias was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Aleandro Santos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luizinho Arce was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. Luizinho Arce took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Osvaldo Peres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Osvaldo Peres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84thth minute of the game Aleandro Santos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mairi FC's Luizinho Arce was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Seleto Football Club's Naldo Baptista got a free kick in the 88th minute. 90 minutes into the match, Seleto Football Club's goalkeeper Zacarias Dias had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dinei Linares. Aleandro Santos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Luizinho Arce tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
