Without hesitation aimed to the right of Luizinho Sampaio, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The supporters of Cebolao booed when Praial was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thomás Freire didn't get a good kick on the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Praial's goalkeeper Luizinho Sampaio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jano Aguiar. Marcelinho Maia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jonathan Corrêa's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Praial's goal looked a bit too open when Tiaguinho Carvalho came free, but Luizinho Sampaio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute, Wágner Mandrak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luizinho Sampaio made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Jano Aguiar sent off a good shot on target. If Jonathan Corrêa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Wágner Mandrak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonathan Corrêa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 37th minute José Augusto Senna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luizinho Sampaio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40thth minute of the game Jonathan Corrêa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cebolao's Marcelinho Maia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Jonathan Corrêa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Jonathan Corrêa made the kick off in the second half. Silvinho Cruz kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Jonathan Corrêa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 61st minute Jonathan Corrêa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelinho Maia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luizinho Sampaio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jano Aguiar in the 65th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Praial's Jonas Veiga got a free kick in the 65th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jonathan Corrêa in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcelinho Maia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marcelinho Maia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Corrêa in the 78th minute of the match. Jonathan Corrêa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Marcelinho Maia made a huge save. Jano Braga kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. In the 84th minute, Tiaguinho Carvalho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Tiaguinho Carvalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Praial's Luizinho Sampaio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jano Aguiar in the 89th minute of play. 96 minutes into the match, Cebolao's goalkeeper Marcelinho Maia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jonathan Corrêa. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
