After recieving a nice pass, Helena de Tróia FC's Niculae Bălășescu tried to score from far away in the 36th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When Baltazar Linares came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Helena de Tróia FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baltazar Linares couldn't finish the play. Doriva Meira came free with the goalkeeper in the 41st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Chico Carneiro could save by the left post. 42 minutes into the game, Baltazar Linares cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Claudinei Prestes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Baltazar Linares to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Helena de Tróia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jefferson Duarte came free, but Chico Carneiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 55th minute, Jefferson Duarte made a precise shot to the right of Chico Carneiro. Helena de Tróia FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. After 66 played minutes Helena de Tróia FC got a freekick which was hit by Qin Jian Chao. 70 minutes into the match, Helena de Tróia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jefferson Duarte came free, but Chico Carneiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Baltazar Linares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out.
