After a rather tough play, Riachaozinho SS's Inácio Novaes got a free kick in the 15th minute. Fernando Dias was out of position in the 21 minute of play, and Cléberson Maranhense capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cléberson Maranhense really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Fernando Dias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cléberson Maranhense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Riachaozinho SS getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Miguel Rodrigues hit a great ball. The supporters of Alexandria booed when Riachaozinho SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Rodrigues didn't get a good kick on the ball.
