The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hernani Valle was the one to do the kick off. Raphael Soeiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arnaldo Tepedino went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. 58 minutes into the match, Wartec's goal looked a bit too open when Hernani Valle came free, but Raphael Soeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eduardo Bezerra charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eduardo Bezerra the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Wartec getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Eduardo Bezerra hit a great ball. 64 minutes into the match, Wartec's Luisinho Recife sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ronaldinho Cruz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Wartec's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hernani Valle was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. There was no doubt that Goyanninha were the better team. Goyanninha's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
