Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Dadá Hoffmann took the kick off in the first half of the match. Marcinho Motta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dadá Hoffmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. After having played for 5 minutes, Renato Paiva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Saumama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Renato Paiva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Saumama's zone, Ricardinho Abraão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcinho Motta came out of the goal and Ricardinho Abraão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Saumama booed when Opa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arthur Antunes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dadá Hoffmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcinho Motta having to interfere. In the 19th minute, Renato Paiva ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gilberto Barreto was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Saumama's Renato Paiva was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 22nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. João Francisco Amorim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Saumama's Sydney Vale managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Maurício Tinoco in the 28 minute of the game. Luisinho Machado kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Flavinho Lopes's late challenge caught a Opa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Flavinho Lopes helped the player get up and apologised. Ricardinho Abraão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Saumama getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Flavinho Lopes hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Renato Paiva made a kick off. Renato Paiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Gilberto Barreto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Flavinho Lopes hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. In the 64th minute of the match Arthur Antunes sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcinho Motta skillfully saved the ball. Renato Paiva's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gilberto Barreto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Renato Paiva blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gilberto Barreto having to make a save. After having played for 70 minutes, Renato Paiva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Renato Paiva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benê Rossi hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. The audience held their breath when Luisinho Machado in the 78th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Gilberto Barreto's left hand side. The supporters of Opa booed when Saumama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flavinho Lopes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arthur Antunes didn't get a good kick on the ball. During the 92nd minute of the match Flavinho Lopes completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Flavinho Lopes a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 92nd minute, Flavinho Lopes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Saumama had won after a very even match.
