Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Wilton Koehler made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 4th match minute, Chorona EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernesto Gaúcho to maneuver through the defense. Décio Meira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Valdo Fonseca didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kléberson Secco went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. A collision led to Chorona EC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Dráusio Queirós hit a great ball. Maraba EC were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after Chorona EC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Wilian Arantes took the corner. With a little luck, Maraba EC's Dedé Moraes got control of the ball when José Meirelles tried to sneak it across the goal line. Wilton Koehler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dedé Moraes having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Chorona EC's zone, Décio Meira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valdo Fonseca came out of the goal and Décio Meira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Valdo Fonseca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Décio Meira in the 36th minute of the match. When Kléberson Secco came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Maraba EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kléberson Secco couldn't finish the play. Kléberson Secco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Valdo Fonseca having to make a save. The Chorona EC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Maraba EC were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Décio Meira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Décio Meira in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Valdo Fonseca saved Chorona EC from getting behind. Valdemar Peixoto kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Kléberson Secco struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Valdo Fonseca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maraba EC. Wilton Koehler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dedé Moraes having to interfere. Valdo Fonseca stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Décio Meira's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. In the 87th of the match, Décio Meira tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Valdo Fonseca got in the way and made a wonderful save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Décio Meira in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Valdo Fonseca saved Chorona EC from getting behind. Kléberson Secco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valdo Fonseca having to interfere. In the 96th minute Décio Meira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valdo Fonseca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 97 minutes into the match, Maraba EC's goal looked a bit too open when Wilton Koehler came free, but Dedé Moraes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Chorona EC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Maraba EC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
