Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Duda Berger took the kick off in the first half of the match. Glauco Mota took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guga Sá, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Nildo Luz fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Seguro's protests and gave Nildo Luz a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Seguro getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Nildo Luz hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Seguro's zone, Tiaguinho Barral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Glauco Mota came out of the goal and Tiaguinho Barral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 9 minutes of play, Lagoinha's Guga Sá made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Glauco Mota was left in no man's land by his defense there! Glauco Mota took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guga Sá, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Tiaguinho Barral managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lagoinha's supporters rose to their feet, but Tiaguinho Barral was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Glauco Mota breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Charles Pires was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Dadá Vides. Duda Berger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Charles Pires tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Glauco Mota made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guga Sá in the 27th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Lagoinha's goal looked a bit too open when Duda Berger came free, but Charles Pires reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Duda Berger in the 34th minute of play forced Lagoinha's goalkeeper Charles Pires to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Durval Saraiva who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 35thth minute tested the skills of Charles Pires when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 36th minute, Gualter Guedes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lagoinha's goalkeeper Charles Pires, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Duda Berger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rd minute, Mané Loureiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lagoinha's defense didn't have a chance, in the 45th minute, when Duda Berger scored to the left of an out of position Charles Pires, making the score, 1-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Guga Sá to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Durval Saraiva cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Charles Pires was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Lagoinha booed when Seguro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Durval Saraiva didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 57th minute Durval Saraiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charles Pires saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th minute, Guga Sá got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 65 minutes into the match, Tiaguinho Barral had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Glauco Mota. Seguro's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tiaguinho Barral was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. In the 75th minute, Durval Saraiva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Duda Berger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 91 minutes, Duda Berger managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Seguro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Duda Berger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Miguel Prestes's late challenge caught a Lagoinha's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Miguel Prestes helped the player get up and apologised. In the 93rd minute, Miguel Prestes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Seguro's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
