An unexpectedly hard shot by Manoel Coutinho in the 12th minute of play forced Paraty Centro FC's goalkeeper Eriberto Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vicente Carneiro made a great header on Mombacinha FC's corner, it was just that Paraty Centro FC's Eriberto Amorim managed to reach the ball for a save. Paraty Centro FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manfredo Tepedino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Manoel Coutinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Hudson Martins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eriberto Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manoel Coutinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Acácio Botelho to strike the kick off in the second half. Mombacinha FC's Hudson Martins got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hudson Martins could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Eriberto Amorim made a huge save. Eriberto Amorim came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Mombacinha FC's Hudson Martins. But to his dismay, Hudson Martins quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Mombacinha FC's Geovani de Godoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manfredo Tepedino in the 67th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manoel Coutinho in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eriberto Amorim saved Paraty Centro FC from getting behind. Mombacinha FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
