That made the score 1-0 in the 18 minute of play. In the 21st minute, Alberto Sanches hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Belmiro Luz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabrício Viana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emílio Vidal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lúcio Valladares made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Igor Trevisan sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, SAFARI FOOTBALL CLUB's Sandrinho Romero got a free kick in the 30th minute. 31 minutes into the match, SAFARI FOOTBALL CLUB's goalkeeper Lúcio Valladares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Igor Trevisan. Nelson Cabral hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. When Emílio Vidal, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 37 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Lúcio Valladares was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 38 minutes into the match, DGR's Igor Trevisan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lúcio Valladares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Igor Trevisan might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lúcio Valladares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Igor Trevisan ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 42nd minute, Emílio Vidal fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Lúcio Valladares, passed just outside the right post. Belmiro Luz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sandrinho Romero, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute.

Sandrinho Romero kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Emílio Vidal charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emílio Vidal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Emílio Vidal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 65 minutes into the match, SAFARI FOOTBALL CLUB's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Trevisan came free, but Lúcio Valladares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67th minute, Igor Trevisan made a precise shot to the right of Lúcio Valladares. SAFARI FOOTBALL CLUB's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. If Fabrício Viana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emílio Vidal struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Lúcio Valladares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for DGR. 81 minutes into the game, Giovanni Peres was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SAFARI FOOTBALL CLUB's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave DGR the free kick. In the 81st minute, Giovanni Peres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. DGR's Emílio Vidal got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lúcio Valladares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emílio Vidal's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. In the 96th minute, Luciano Correia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. DGR walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
