Norberto Saldanha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudinei Maciel in the 12th minute of play. The long shot by Wellington Silva in the 17th minute really tested Norberto Saldanha's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 21st minute, Dorian Guedes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Raúl Vieiras short, quick shot in the 23rdth minute got Norberto Saldanha to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Guga Loyola's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tostão de Carvalho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. In the 27thth minute of the game Dorian Guedes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Oacary FC's Tostão de Carvalho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Guga Loyola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Geovanni Rosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tostão de Carvalho having to interfere. Carrancudo's Norberto Saldanha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudinei Maciel in the 34th minute of play. Dorian Guedes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tostão de Carvalho having to interfere. Guga Loyola might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tostão de Carvalho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Guga Loyola ran back to his position shaking his head.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dorian Guedes to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Charles Vergílio in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Norberto Saldanha saved Carrancudo from getting behind. In the 53rd match minute, Carrancudo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geovanni Rosa to maneuver through the defense. When Claudinei Maciel came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Oacary FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claudinei Maciel couldn't finish the play. In the 56th match minute, Oacary FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raúl Vieira to maneuver through the defense. Guga Loyola blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tostão de Carvalho having to make a save. When Carrancudo's Dorian Guedes in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Oacary FC's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Claudinei Maciel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Oacary FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Claudinei Maciel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Norberto Saldanha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 68th match minute, Oacary FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raúl Vieira to maneuver through the defense. In the 73rdth minute of the game Dorian Guedes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Oacary FC's Tostão de Carvalho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Geovanni Rosa hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. 81 minutes into the game, Oacary FC's Charles Vergílio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Norberto Saldanha made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Oacary FC's Tostão de Carvalho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Oacary FC from getting a goal against them. Charles Vergílio struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Norberto Saldanha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Oacary FC. Carrancudo's Norberto Saldanha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raúl Vieira in the 91st minute of play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
