Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Anselmo Negri made the kick off which started today's match. After some fancy dribbling in the 2nd minute, Erivaldo Meirelles managed to get in a good position for a shot. Panela Quente FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Erivaldo Meirelles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dionísio Rosado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Roberto Perez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anselmo Negri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 6th minute, Almir Tavares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Itajuru's zone, Daniel Prestes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dionísio Rosado came out of the goal and Daniel Prestes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Rony de Castro sped through Panela Quente FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Roberto Perez. In the 16th minute, Daniel Prestes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 17 minutes into the match, Panela Quente FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rony de Castro came free, but Roberto Perez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 19 minutes of play, Panela Quente FC's Erivaldo Meirelles made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dionísio Rosado was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Itajuru's goalkeeper Dionísio Rosado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pedro Augusto Gomes hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Ivo Matos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pedro Augusto Gomes during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 28th match minute, Panela Quente FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Augusto Gomes to maneuver through the defense. Itajuru's Dionísio Rosado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erivaldo Meirelles in the 30th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Itajuru's Rony de Castro got a free kick in the 31st minute. If Almir Tavares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Itajuru defense, Erivaldo Meirelles kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dionísio Rosado. The Itajuru fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dionísio Rosado should have stopped the shot. If Ivo Matos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erivaldo Meirelles blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dionísio Rosado having to make a save.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Erivaldo Meirelles made a kick off. Erivaldo Meirelles might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dionísio Rosado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Erivaldo Meirelles ran back to his position shaking his head. 60 minutes into the match, Panela Quente FC's goal looked a bit too open when Anselmo Negri came free, but Roberto Perez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 63 minutes, Dionísio Rosado successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 69th match minute, Itajuru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zé Paulo Quaresma to maneuver through the defense. Almir Tavares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Erivaldo Meirelles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Panela Quente FC made a substitution.
