The MANIERO TEAM fans' excitement grew in the 46th match minute when MANIERO TEAM's Ricardo Bueno looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Elói Leme stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Waldir de Sena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elói Leme in the 52nd minute of play. Elói Leme kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. A collision led to Pajehu getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Pedro Luiz Mendes hit a great ball. When Filippo Grassi came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the MANIERO TEAM fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filippo Grassi couldn't finish the play. 93 minutes into the match, Edu Guimarães had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Waldir de Sena. MANIERO TEAM's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edu Guimarães was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. In the 97th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pajehu's goalkeeper Genílson Massa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match was over MANIERO TEAM could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Pajehu throughout the match.
