Osmar de Souza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 60 minutes into the match, Cristian Esteves notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Pouca Sombra's Jean Maranhense. Jean Maranhense was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Pedro Augusto Tavares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. In the 87th match minute, Terezina EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cláudio Carneiro to maneuver through the defense. It was beautiful to see Pouca Sombra's Alexsandro Bezerra in action when he in the 89th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! If Cristian Esteves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristian Arce hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Cristian Arce received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Osmar de Souza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Pouca Sombra players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Terezina EC.
