Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) João Paulo Vianna started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 3 played minutes Cantareira FC got a freekick which was hit by Adriano Mello. Dalmo Fonseca might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kasper Hurtig. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dalmo Fonseca ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Cantareira FC's Noel Paiva got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 11th match minute Edvaldo Batista ran free in the middle of the field and shot a long shot which scored behind a totally surprised Kasper Hurtig. 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Cantareira FC's zone, Dalmo Fonseca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kasper Hurtig came out of the goal and Dalmo Fonseca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Cantareira FC booed when Kanelada Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Célio Ramalho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kasper Hurtig showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Paulo Vianna, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Dalmo Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Cantareira FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Danilo Zika hit a great ball. In the 27th minute, Cantareira FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Dalmo Fonseca fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. João Paulo Vianna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Kasper Hurtig tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dalmo Fonseca got free with Kasper Hurtig in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Danilo Zika recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 42nd minute of the match Cantareira FC got a corner. Kanelada Futebol Clube's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Adriano Mello ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Adriano Mello almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Kanelada Futebol Clube's Dráuzio Pereira did a great save. After a defensive mix-up in Kanelada Futebol Clube's zone, Danilo Zika stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dráuzio Pereira came out of the goal and Danilo Zika tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 44 minutes of play, Cantareira FC's Danilo Zika made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dráuzio Pereira was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 51st minute, João Paulo Vianna left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kanelada Futebol Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. João Paulo Vianna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dalmo Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Kasper Hurtig tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Danilo Zika fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dráuzio Pereira having to interfere. Dalmo Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Kasper Hurtig tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dalmo Fonseca's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kasper Hurtig read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. João Paulo Vianna got in the 68th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Kasper Hurtig handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. In the 77th minute, João Paulo Vianna ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kasper Hurtig was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. After a rather tough play, Cantareira FC's Adriano Mello got a free kick in the 79th minute. Edvaldo Batista was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 80th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Dalmo Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kasper Hurtig showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Paulo Vianna in the 87th minute of the match. Cantareira FC's Kasper Hurtig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Paulo Vianna in the 91st minute of play. A collision led to Cantareira FC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Gugu Gaspar hit a great ball. João Paulo Vianna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Kasper Hurtig tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kasper Hurtig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Paulo Vianna in the 96th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Cantareira FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Kanelada Futebol Clube.
