Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Periperi's Daniel Souza started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 8 minutes into the match, Periperi's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrigo Dracena came free, but Ciro Vergílio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Júlio Coutinho came free with the goalkeeper in the 10th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Magno Andrade could save by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Periperi's zone, Rodrigo Dracena stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ciro Vergílio came out of the goal and Rodrigo Dracena tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 20thth minute of the game Víktor Carioca who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Periperi's Ciro Vergílio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 26thth minute of the game Júlio Coutinho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Oneide's Magno Andrade was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Periperi's Ciro Vergílio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Dracena in the 34th minute of play. If Sidney Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st minute Daniel Souza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Magno Andrade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 42 played minutes Oneide got a freekick which was hit by David Costa. The Periperi players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Oneide were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Víktor Carioca to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Júlio Coutinho in the 58th minute of play forced Oneide's goalkeeper Magno Andrade to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 62nd minute of the game. One of Oneide:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Periperi:s goal. Ciro Vergílio came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Oneide's Sidney Amorim. But to his dismay, Sidney Amorim quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. If Rodrigo Dracena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74th minute, Fiori Cosme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ciro Vergílio made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Rodrigo Dracena sent off a good shot on target. Ciro Vergílio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Víktor Carioca in the 79th minute of the match. Júlio Coutinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Magno Andrade having to interfere. Daniel Souza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Magno Andrade having to interfere. Magno Andrade showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Júlio Coutinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. The supporters of Oneide booed when Periperi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliézer Sarmento didn't get a good kick on the ball. Murillo Figueiredo kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. If Víktor Carioca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Periperi supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Oneide's performance. The match ended with a win for Oneide.
