Romário de Sousa's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 4thth minute, Marco Paiva skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Fabiano Bittencourt in the 7th minute of play forced FIGUEIRENSE F.C.'s goalkeeper Marco Paiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When FIGUEIRENSE F.C.'s Cauan Cosme in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 21st minute Samuca Mesquita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurinho Goiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th match minute, Reliquiart Boll was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramiro Leite to maneuver through the defense. Maurinho Goiano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuca Mesquita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Reliquiart Boll's Ramiro Leite got a free kick in the 34th minute. FIGUEIRENSE F.C.'s Samuca Mesquita got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Olívio Abraão fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FIGUEIRENSE F.C.'s protests and gave Olívio Abraão a yellow card for diving instead. After 39 played minutes FIGUEIRENSE F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Olívio Abraão. Luís Fabiano Bittencourt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Haroldo Romero hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Samuca Mesquita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Maurinho Goiano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After recieving a nice pass, FIGUEIRENSE F.C.'s Charles Arruda tried to score from far away in the 54th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Luís Fabiano Bittencourt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Reliquiart Boll's Maurinho Goiano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuca Mesquita in the 62nd minute of play. Maurinho Goiano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuca Mesquita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cauan Cosme scored 1-2 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maurinho Goiano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Reliquiart Boll's goalkeeper Maurinho Goiano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cauan Cosme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maurinho Goiano having to interfere. The supporters of Reliquiart Boll booed when FIGUEIRENSE F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olívio Abraão didn't get a good kick on the ball. Reliquiart Boll's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Maicon Passos in the 77th minute. If Luís Fabiano Bittencourt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Reliquiart Boll's Ramiro Leite got a free kick in the 81st minute. Samuca Mesquita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maurinho Goiano having to interfere. 92 minutes into the match, Reliquiart Boll's goal looked a bit too open when Samuca Mesquita came free, but Maurinho Goiano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
