Reliquiart Boll's Maurinho Goiano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Reliquiart Boll from getting a goal against them. After 6 minutes Reliquiart Boll's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Vitinho Negri who took care of the corner kick. The supporters of Bocayuval booed when Reliquiart Boll was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Nogueira didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Faustão de Carvalho got free with Maurinho Goiano in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Faustão de Carvalho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Maurinho Goiano made a huge save. In the 22nd minute Dadá Moreno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurinho Goiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maurinho Goiano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dadá Moreno, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 25th minute, Romário de Sousa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Antônio Miranda was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After 31 minutes of play, Reliquiart Boll's Luís Fabiano Bittencourt made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Antônio Miranda was left in no man's land by his defense there! Maurinho Goiano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dadá Moreno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Reliquiart Boll's Maurinho Goiano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dadá Moreno in the 47th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luís Fabiano Bittencourt to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Bocayuval's Dadá Moreno sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maurinho Goiano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Vitinho Negri kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Luís Fabiano Bittencourt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Reliquiart Boll's supporters rose to their feet, but Luís Fabiano Bittencourt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Antônio Miranda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Bocayuval getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Renato Brodel hit a great ball. If Luís Fabiano Bittencourt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dadá Moreno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maurinho Goiano having to interfere. In the 75th minute Faustão de Carvalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurinho Goiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dadá Moreno in the 77th minute of play forced Reliquiart Boll's goalkeeper Maurinho Goiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Reliquiart Boll's zone, Dadá Moreno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maurinho Goiano came out of the goal and Dadá Moreno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Faustão de Carvalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maurinho Goiano having to interfere. Dadá Moreno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Reliquiart Boll players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
