Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) After a defensive mix-up in Reliquiart Boll's zone, Cesinha Magalhães stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maurinho Goiano came out of the goal and Cesinha Magalhães tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 15th match minute, Reliquiart Boll was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Fabiano Bittencourt to maneuver through the defense. Romário de Sousa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luís Fabiano Bittencourt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Reliquiart Boll defense, Cesinha Magalhães kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maurinho Goiano. The Reliquiart Boll fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maurinho Goiano should have stopped the shot. Maurinho Goiano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cesinha Magalhães, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Maurinho Goiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Carvalho in the 28th minute of the match. Luís Carvalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maurinho Goiano having to interfere. Mauro Furtado didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 32nd minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Tiago da Cunha managed to get in a good position for a shot. RAFA&LIPE's supporters rose to their feet, but Tiago da Cunha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maurinho Goiano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Luís Carvalho came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the RAFA&LIPE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luís Carvalho couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Carvalho in the 46th minute of play forced Reliquiart Boll's goalkeeper Maurinho Goiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Reliquiart Boll's Maicon Passos got a free kick in the 49th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luís Fabiano Bittencourt to make the kick off. Luís Carvalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Maurinho Goiano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 59th minute, Antônio Carlos Messias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 60 minutes, Maicon Passos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Reliquiart Boll's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maicon Passos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Freddy Brais's late challenge caught a Reliquiart Boll's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Freddy Brais helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, RAFA&LIPE's Freddy Brais got a free kick in the 65th minute. Cesinha Magalhães sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 72nd minute, Wasyl Lanczak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Romário de Sousa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mauro Furtado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Luís Fabiano Bittencourt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauro Furtado having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Fabiano Bittencourt in the 81st minute of play forced RAFA&LIPE's goalkeeper Mauro Furtado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maurinho Goiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cesinha Magalhães in the 84th minute of the match. The RAFA&LIPE supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing RAFA&LIPE would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
