Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Bartoloz's Oséas Moreira started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Bartoloz's goalkeeper Paulo Macedo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cido Gonçalves. Cido Gonçalves received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Paulo Macedo came out and tried to block the shot, but Cido Gonçalves slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 4th minute. Cido Gonçalves who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 9thth minute tested the skills of Paulo Macedo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 12th minute, Cido Gonçalves reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Paulo Macedo. The goal made the score 2-0. Cido Gonçalves's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Paulo Macedo firmly grabbed it by the left post. Paulo Macedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thomás Tasso in the 28th minute of the match. After 35 played minutes Poeiras got a freekick which was hit by Hílton Vieira. The supporters of Bartoloz booed when Poeiras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thomás Tasso didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Poeiras's zone, Oséas Moreira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ulisses de Mendonça came out of the goal and Oséas Moreira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 42nd match minute, Poeiras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thomás Tasso to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Bartoloz getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Bruninho Torres hit a great ball. In the 45th minute, Cido Gonçalves fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

After 55 minutes, Rômulo Mandrak mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Poeiras and the Bartoloz players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 55 played minutes Poeiras got a freekick which was hit by Rômulo Mandrak. Paulo Macedo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Waldir Luz went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oséas Moreira in the 62nd minute of play forced Poeiras's goalkeeper Ulisses de Mendonça to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65th minute of the match, Bruninho Torres got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ulisses de Mendonça was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Through an outstanding action, after 66 minutes, Ulisses de Mendonça successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Ulisses de Mendonça made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oséas Moreira in the 68th minute of play. Pedro Augusto Vidal struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Ulisses de Mendonça didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bartoloz. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomás Tasso in the 78th minute of play forced Bartoloz's goalkeeper Paulo Macedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 82 minutes into the game, Cido Gonçalves cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Paulo Macedo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Oséas Moreira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ulisses de Mendonça read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oséas Moreira in the 94th minute of play forced Poeiras's goalkeeper Ulisses de Mendonça to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Poeiras booed when Bartoloz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oséas Moreira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Many of Bartoloz's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Bartoloz may have spent more time on the ball, but Poeiras were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
