Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Aratuhype's Sidney Ramalho started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Serginho Pinho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Teodoro Hoffmann was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 8th minute Serginho Pinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodoro Hoffmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Diogo Lopes scored 1-1 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sílvio Luiz Diniz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Teodoro Hoffmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serginho Pinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. If Serginho Pinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Aratuhype's Luís Fernando Sampaio got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Teodoro Hoffmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernandinho Antunes in the 25th minute of play. A hard shot 28 in the game by Diogo Lopes from a close distance when the talented Sílvio Luiz Diniz managed to make a qualified save. Abolicao AD's players were relieved. Sílvio Luiz Diniz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sidney Ramalho's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. The supporters of Aratuhype booed when Abolicao AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donato Sampaio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fernandinho Antunes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Teodoro Hoffmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Aratuhype getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Luís Fernando Sampaio hit a great ball. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Abolicao AD's goalkeeper Sílvio Luiz Diniz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sílvio Luiz Diniz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sidney Ramalho in the 43rd minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
Dráuzio Santos might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Teodoro Hoffmann. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dráuzio Santos ran back to his position shaking his head. Serginho Pinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Teodoro Hoffmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcel Goiano charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcel Goiano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Marcel Goiano hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Teodoro Hoffmann made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fernandinho Antunes in the 64th minute. Diogo Lopes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Diogo Lopes came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Aratuhype fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diogo Lopes couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sidney Ramalho in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sílvio Luiz Diniz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Diogo Lopes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Sílvio Luiz Diniz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 88 minutes of play, Aratuhype's Diogo Lopes made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sílvio Luiz Diniz was left in no man's land by his defense there! 93 minutes into the match, Aratuhype's goalkeeper Teodoro Hoffmann had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fernandinho Antunes. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Fernandinho Antunes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Abolicao AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Fernandinho Antunes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teodoro Hoffmann breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
