If Claudinho Neiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jacinto Quintal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delfim Barbosa having to interfere. In the 7th match minute, Provisao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Davi Marques to maneuver through the defense. Cafu Zonta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Davi Marques in the 10th minute of play. Jacinto Quintal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 14 minutes of play, Clube Atlético Cajazeiras's Claudinho Neiva made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Delfim Barbosa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Delfim Barbosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Belmiro Paulista in the 17th minute of the match. Cafu Zonta made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when João Pedro Magalhães sent off a good shot on target. João Pedro Magalhães kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Provisao's zone, Claudinho Neiva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Delfim Barbosa came out of the goal and Claudinho Neiva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Edu Netto fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Provisao's protests and gave Edu Netto a yellow card for diving instead. Edu Netto hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. 31 minutes into the game, Provisao's Davi Marques nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cafu Zonta made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Clube Atlético Cajazeiras's Cafu Zonta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Clube Atlético Cajazeiras from getting a goal against them. João Pedro Magalhães could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Cafu Zonta made a huge save. In the 37th match minute, Clube Atlético Cajazeiras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafa Branco to maneuver through the defense. Claudinho Neiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delfim Barbosa having to interfere. Claudinho Neiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Delfim Barbosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Jacinto Quintal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Clube Atlético Cajazeiras fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Delfim Barbosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacinto Quintal, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 55th minute, Ivo Catarinense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jacinto Quintal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delfim Barbosa having to interfere. 64 minutes into the match, Clube Atlético Cajazeiras's Jacinto Quintal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Delfim Barbosa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Delfim Barbosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacinto Quintal in the 66th minute of the match. In the 67th minute, Olavo Neto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cafu Zonta was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. In the 70th minute, Renato de Queiroz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. João Pedro Magalhães fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cafu Zonta having to interfere. In the 74th minute Ivo Catarinense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cafu Zonta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Clube Atlético Cajazeiras's Claudinho Neiva got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 90th match minute, Provisao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Pedro Magalhães to maneuver through the defense. If Olavo Neto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Clube Atlético Cajazeiras were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Provisao to leave the ground with a draw.
