The supporters of Tríade Football Club booed when Novo Hamburgo RS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jailson de Moraes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Novo Hamburgo RS's defense didn't have a chance, in the 31st minute, when Luís Fábio Abreu scored to the left of an out of position Gino Nóbrega, making the score, 2-2. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emanuel Maranhense to strike the kick off in the second half. When Emanuel Maranhense came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Tríade Football Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emanuel Maranhense couldn't finish the play. After 56 minutes of play, Tríade Football Club's Luís Fábio Abreu made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gino Nóbrega was left in no man's land by his defense there! 65 minutes into the game, Tomé de Souza was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tríade Football Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Novo Hamburgo RS the free kick. With a little luck, Tríade Football Club's Silas Paulista got control of the ball when Jânio Goiano tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Maranhense in the 73rd minute of play forced Novo Hamburgo RS's goalkeeper Gino Nóbrega to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Gonçalo Faria came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Tríade Football Club fans jumped to their feet. In the 81st match minute, Tríade Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adelino de Carvalho to maneuver through the defense. Novo Hamburgo RS's Denílson Zanette got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luís Fábio Abreu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adelino de Carvalho kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 89 minutes, Silas Paulista successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Gino Nóbrega didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luís Fábio Abreu went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-3 was the resulting score. Durval Paranaense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silas Paulista having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Tríade Football Club's Adelino de Carvalho got a free kick in the 97th minute.
